Hello, and welcome to my website.

My name is Dominic and I am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist in training and clinical practice.

In my practice I provide a relaxed, warm and focused space, where you can talk in confidence and have the opportunity to be deeply heard and supported.

You may be interested in therapy for one of more of the following reasons:

  • anger, sadness, grief
  • life changes
  • struggle to focus
  • low self-esteem
  • life choices
  • lack of meaning in life









Sometimes it feels difficult to name a problem other than a deeply felt sense of unease. Or that life is not the way you would like it to be right now.



Working Together

The first stage of working together is to build trust. I will meet your thoughts and feelings with care and acceptance. Together we can explore how your life would look if therapy were to be successful. This gives direction to our work.

As the process continues, clarity can emerge around issues which felt stuck. We can see how your discoveries in therapy are being applied in your life. The journey can be hard at times, but it may become possible for you to treat yourself with more kindness and understanding. Whilst the pace of the work is different for everyone, the intention is that new and fulfilling ways of living and expressing yourself become available for you.

I am deeply committed to my work with clients. I have experienced for myself the healing possible as a result of finding the right psychotherapist or counsellor. This is true whether you want some short-term support with a particular issue or crisis from a counsellor; or whether you are open to longer term work which can address the deeper roots of difficulties in our lives.



Sessions are held weekly on the same day and at the same time. It is usual to review how therapy is working after 6 weeks and from here to continue on a weekly basis whilst it is helpful to do so. It is your choice as to how long you stay in therapy and this depends on the nature of the issues you wish to explore.

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a Psychotherapist in training and clinical practice. I am also a highly experienced teacher of Mindfulness-based courses, and am a listed teacher on the UK Network for Mindfulness based Teacher Training Organisations.

I see clients at a centre in Hackney, and privately in two locations in North London. As a Psychotherapist in training and clinical practice, I offer therapy and counselling at affordable rates and offer a free initial consulation session.

Psychotherapy or Counselling?

Psychotherapy differs from Counselling in that it tends to happen over the longer term. A counsellor can help you see to yourself and your problems more realistically and to manage those problems better. Psychotherapy offers the longer-term prospect of finding meaning, healing and transformation.
