How to Begin
I offer a free consultation session to all prospective clients. This gives you an opportunity to describe what you would like to get out of coming to therapy at this time. It also allows you to ask any questions that you may have about my approach, training or qualifications. It is important that we feel able to work together and it can be useful to have time and space to reflect on that before starting work together.
Sessions are held weekly on the same day and at the same time. It is usual to review how therapy is working after 6 weeks and from here to continue on a weekly basis whilst it is helpful to do so. Reviews are a helpful way to check progress and re-focus where necessary. It is your choice as to how long you stay in therapy and this depends on the nature of the issues you wish to explore.
